Howdy!
Howdy!
Howdy, y’all! I’m Jacqueline Trinh-Juarez — a proud Vietnamese-Mexican musical theatre performer with a whole lotta heart, glitter, and grit. Born and raised deep in the heart of Texas (Austin and Houston, to be exact!) I carry my Southern charm, cultural pride, and love for the arts wherever I go!
I am currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I’m earning my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance at Point Park University — GO PIONEERS! I’m soaking up every second of conservatory life, honing my craft, and collaborating with artists from every walk of life.
Whether I’m performing, leading a children's theatre class, or adding a little sparkle to the process, I believe in the power of storytelling to connect, inspire, and uplift. My mission as an artist is to create meaningful, joy-filled experiences — and I can’t wait to keep sharing stories that celebrate life, identity, and the magic of live performance!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been singing and dancing — whether it was belting in the children’s choir at church, choreographing living room performances, or putting on full productions for my extended family (complete with a Hannah Montana wig, of course). From those early days, it was clear: performing wasn’t just a hobby, it was part of who I am.
Musical theatre and dance have always been my first loves. They’re where I feel most alive — telling stories, moving with purpose, and connecting with others through shared emotion. But beyond the stage, there’s a big part of my heart dedicated to other passions that shape the artist and person I am: theatre and dance education, volunteering with children and communities, cooking up some good food, and surrounding myself with joy — which usually looks like the color pink and something citrusy in hand (lemonade is basically a personality trait at this point).
You’ll often find me stepping into roles both on and off the stage — whether i’m “hanging out” with Moana or Silvermist at children's parties, or teaching a group of kids how to dance during a mission trip in Honduras. These moments fuel me just as much as the curtain rising. They remind me that storytelling, service, and imagination are all beautifully intertwined — and that being an artist means using your gifts wherever they’re needed.
